I'm going to be offering Canva design services!

I was talking with my business coach the other day. She was giving me some fantastic advice and actionable tips that were blowing my mind.

Then she mentioned that she was having trouble with her own branding, graphics and website - she wasn't pleased with the logo her designer was working on, and she'd been waiting months to get her business cards printed and her website up and running because of these design issues.

My mind was blown again - because that stuff is literally so easy for me. Her wisdom and knowledge about business were the deep mysteries I couldn't seem to unravel - and here she was, not getting them out to more of the world because of these simple issues!

That's when I realized that I could be helping a lot more people.

I'm going to keep this post short and sweet, because I have to actually take a shower today, haha!

I have a really cool Canva tutorial coming up for you guys soon, but it's going to take me a day or so to shoot and edit the video, and create the graphics.

But I wanted to let you guys know that I am going to be offering my Canva design services soon. I can solve so many small business, entrepreneur and solopreneur design problems. It's literally the thing I do best.

I love the saying "Work in your genius zone."

Design is my genius zone. I can visualize and create logos, colors, typography, branding, patterns, - all those visual elements - so quickly.

My poor business coach has been wrestling  for months with problems that I solved for her after work. It took her being blown away by what I could make for her and how quickly for me to realize how valuable and unique my skills are.

There are a lot of great designers out there. Since design is so easy for me, it didn't occur to me that my design services are a really, really valuable skill to others. I knew I was good at it, but I didn't quite realized the extent that I can serve others with my design talents. I can really solve problems for people!

So I've been coming up with some design packages using my favorite design tool, Canva.

I LOVE Canva, especially for "non designers" - people who may be creative, but aren't trained in graphic design and don't own Adobe Creative Suite. It's so intuitive and easy to use. It's so much more approachable and easy to use for non-designer business people to use. I love that it's changed the game. It used to be, I would create a bunch of files for clients, using programs the didn't own or know how to use. Then I would send them the files, and that's it. They can't edit the files, they can only use them as I sent them. If they want to change anything, I have to remake the files and resend them.

With Canva, I can access a client's Canva account and do all the branding and template creation right inside their own dashboard. Then, they have direct, editable access to any branding I do. Also, I can create custom files in my own Canva and share with clients, so that I can retain master copies in case they accidentally break the design. (This happens often)

I'm very excited to roll out my design packages. I'm going to spend some time this weekend planning my offerings and pricing, so stay tuned!
